A little bit of CES goodness
There’s still a couple of hours to go until Bill Gates kicks off his keynote speech for CES, but I’ve already seen two very cool things that I’m planning on keeping my eye on, and one that makes me sad.
Motorola’s ROKR E2 runs off Linux, and supports mp3, Real and WME formats - with no 100 song limit.
iRiver’s G10 WiBro Game Console looks pretty cool. I have always coveted an iRiver, but the WiBro tips my “want” over into “need” territory. Of course, the types of games they’ll have on it will be a further tipping point, but you have to admit it’s very pretty.
The news story broke yesterday that Sony will not be annoucing anything about the PS3 at CES. This makes me sad, because I was looking forward to hearing what Sony has cooked up.
I’ll have more tonight after I check out the keynote speech. In the meantime, someone get me the WiBro pricing, please?
